Effects of Various Combined-treatment by Some Growth Regulators, Sugars and Inorganic Materials with IBA on Rooting in Hardwood Cuttings of Apple Rootstock M.26 (Mulus domestica Bork.)




Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the rooting improvement with hardwood cutting of M.26 apple rootstock in the bottom heating bed. Some growth regulators, sugars and inorganic materials with IBA (2,500 §¶¡¤L^(-1)) were treated in hardwood cutting of M.26 rootstock. When uniconazole (1,000 §¶¡¤L^(-1)), bitertanol (1,000 §¶¡¤L^(-1)) and fusicoccin (50§¶¡¤L^(-1)) were treated with IBA, the synergy effects of combined-treatment on rooting were observed. Rooting ratio was increased in IBA+uniconazole treatment and root growth was greatly increased in IBA+fusicoccin treatment. When sucrose (30%), glucose (30%), chlorogenic acid (1,000 and 5,000 §¶¡¤L^(-1)) and boron (1,000 and 5,000§¶¡¤L^(-1)) with IBA were treated, the synergy effects of combined-treatment on rooting were observed. In combined-treatments of sugars and inorganic materials with IBA, rooting ratio and rootscore were the highest in IBA (2,500 §¶¡¤L^(-1))+sucrose (30%).
